Protein Plus & Sat. Fat Levels

I love those Met-Rx protein plus bars w/34 grams of decent protein in them but…why do they have to put so much saturated fat (6-9 grams) in each bar? Should I be overly concerned? Does anyone have any other suggestions as to quality bars with a lower anmount of sat. fat (not eas!!!)? Thanks for your input.

Keith,
the saturated fat in the Met-rx protein plus are MCT’s primarly…coconut and palm-kernel oils…IF you are unaware, MCT’s have a different metablic fate than normal fats, and are not stored as convential fats have the potential to be…They are a sort of “fat carbohydrate”…as an aside, i think those are the best protein bars for your buck out there.
Peace out in this bitch
