Protein Pasta!!!

Have anyone of you heard/tried this? My wife picked up a box…

It tastes decent. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I will say that I do not eat the stuff, but my kids do. They complained a little when we first servered it, but they got used to it very quickly. It’s a heck of a lot better than the white flour hell of a pasta which they were eating before.

Post the ingredients. If the number 1, 2, or 3 ingredient is soy-based, try to limit your intake.

It says most of the protein comes from wheat flour, legume flour, and egg whites. It provides 17 grams of protein per uncooked cup and is an 88 on the protein quality scale.

I’ve been using this stuff for a couple months now. You get used to the taste pretty quick. The one beef I have is with the texture. Even al dente, it just doesn’t feel quite right when you chew it. The pros outweigh the cons by a landslide though. If you can’t live without pasta, this stuff is the way to go.

This is way better than “Low-Carb” pasta. My wife brought that home once, I have had calamari that was less chewy. On the positive side, my jaw had DOMS the next day!
