Protein Makes Recipes Dry, Solution?

Afternoon ladies and gents,

When making dishes like protein waffles, protein mug cakes, etc, the protein makes it dry as a sponge. At first I thought i was just overcooking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case…What are some ways you’ve come up with this to make it keep its deliciousness?

I usually get around the dryness by crying softly over my high-protein, low-fat meal.

Works great with chicken breast too

Add fat.

Yep! You can add an egg yolk, some nut butter, little olive oil etc.
