Protein Bar or Almonds?

Going snowboarding for a few days and I’m wondering how I should eat while on the slopes… It’s an all day event with one break for lunch (most likely a chicken sandwich) so bringing a shaker in my jacket isn’t really an option because it’s too bulky. Should I bring some almonds or protein bars (if bars, what kind)?

If you spend much energy while boarding and don’t want to bonk you’ll want something with more carbs than either of these choices.

That’s actually a situation where Power Bars are useful. Higher carbs with some protein is perfect for fuel when highly active.
