Hey guys, just trying to understand the whole uptake of subject of insulin. When having a P and F meal, a relatively small insulin amount is secreted. Now, what happens? Does protein have a higher sensitivity than the fat, and therefore, more muscle than fat will be stored?
fat slows down digestion and gastric emptying therefore you get slower nutrient timing into the blood stream.
Same thing happens with the use of fiber, that is the reason it is recomended in every meal if you want to control insulin. laters pk
So basically we are also storing fat along with the protein in the muscles, as this is a necessary evil?
