I read on another board that casein is a cheap protein, and that there are other better protein sources, like eggs, chicken and beef. Whey, of course, was the best. Any comments?

Caesin is found in milk, which is relatively cheap. No eggs and meat proteins, while being very good, are not as good. Go read some of the recent articles on protein by Cy Wilson as well as the round table discussion.
