Protein After Being Sick

Hi all, I caught a gastroenteritis on Sunday and symptoms appeared yesterday. I’m pretty fine today, I ate some light soup and a lot of fruits (melon, oranges, grapefruit). I was wondering when should start eating protein including whey, is it to soon ? Thanks.

I don’t know why it’d be too soon. The main thing you’d want to do when sick is get your fluids. if you get those, have all the whey you want IMO.

Once you can hold it down of course. Not only protein but also carbs and fats.
