Proper Form With Bent-Over Rows

What’s the proper way to perform these with a barbell? I’ve uploaded a video of myself performing them in two different positions.

The second position has a much greater range of motion (basically the same range of motion as a bench press) but I can’t use nearly as much weight. Should do them in this position, even though I have to use a pathetically light weight?

Pretty good demonstration. Thats a pendlay row, similiar to a barbell row. Regardless, her back position, range of motion, and lack of movement in the hip area are probably the key aspects.

Thanks, that video helps a lot. I tried it out and I can use much more weight by doing them one rep at a time explosively.
