Its not that.

The new prohormones that are comming out are so twisted in a lab from what they were. That the sides are getting worst with no sig. pay off for your money.

Really? Have you used any of them? How do you know?

Fact of the matter is this, these new designer steroids were compounds that were left to rot in some obscure textbook FOR A REASON. Either they were too dangerous, too toxic, too androgenic, etc. to be used in a safe manner. If they could be used (relatively) safely you’d see a pharmaceutical company actually taking the time to manufacture/patent some of these things.

Is it irresponsible to mislead someone with a compound that odds are hasn’t been approved for human consumption? I’d say so. Is it irresponsible to put these steroids on a shelf with no limit on the age they’re sold to? I’d say so. Is it wrong to KNOWINGLY provide improper PCT and dosing instructions, just so you can earn a couple of extra dollars from some poor sap who doesn’t know what the hell he’s taking? I’d say so.

I agree with most of what you write here. The principle is sound. What concerns me is your assertion that these products MUST be inferior simply because they are not being utilized by the pharmaceutical companies. How can I be sure of that?

Basically, I have never used a legal steroid, but I AM looking for any excuse to do so, lol. I’ve done many of the illegal ones, and I just want to experiment with a legal one that has a good reputation. Admittedly, so far I haven’t been sold on one.

I feel like I am wasting my txt here. Dam its like he just wants a single reason to try it… You know what koots, Do it up! How about you do a cycle and actually do double the recomended dosage like you could with most safer AAS products. Come back with a report on how you did. Tell us about your new man boobs and how you have the worst acne in the world or how your liver is failing and your other organs are going to shit. And that you gained 3 lbs of muscle. And tell us it was totally worth it.

Dick?? Woah I was fucking his girl Jane just last night.

And yes I have seen people do legal prohormones. And watched the man boobs grow. So, I like you did my own research on tones of boards. I reached this position.

I never said I was a nice guy. Just trying to make a point to yah. Better some harsh words then some man boobs IMO.

Its your choice but don’t say nobody warned you.

By now from what has been posted in this thread, you should understand that the current crop or 'prohomones’are steroids with an added ester, making them more liver toxic and problematic. Estrogenic sides worse. MAG-10 and other pre-ban legit prohormones were entirely different animals/chemical compounds. They were superior. You can’t make them anymore.

You have a valid point that the safety profile of many of these compounds is not known, but I think you’re a little off about the pharm. industry. The pharmaceutical industry is not mining for these compounds because there is not a big enough payoff. They already have several anabolic steroids that can be prescribed to counteract the effects of various diseases (muscular dystrophies, wasting due to AIDS, etc., aging (in some cases)).

And because of the mass anti-steroid hysteria going on these days, it is not in their interest to be looking at steroidal compounds (doesn’t make good ad copy for magazines…“Ask your doctor for SUPERDUPERDROL TM (Use only as directed).” Hence the push for SARMs…drugs that act like anabolic steroids, but don’t look like them chemically…(and I think this isn’t even that strong a push within the industry).

Also, while clomid and nolvadex certainly are approved for use in humans, these are also potentially very toxic drugs with their own set of side effects, not to mention they are also illegal to possess and ingest without a prescription. Yet there’s no shortage of advice from broscientists to “just get some xxxxx” (often without good follow up on accurate dosing info). Don’t get me wrong, I’m not dissing the advice of experienced users (and there’s many here that I would consider taking advice from), but you must admit that these boards are filled with people who either have minimal experience and are just regurgitating what they’ve read, or have lots of experience but have never really thought too hard about the hows and whys.

Bottom line is that some of these compounds do work and provide a legal alternative (which is exactly what was done with MAG-10, 4-AD-EC and androsol back in the day). But it is up to the consumer to do tons of research, know what they are getting into and have a good plan of action.
