Progressive Distance

Has or does anyone here use a progressive distance method of ultimately increasing your max lift(s)? I do it by starting out w/ my goal weight and do (15) 3in reps, then progressively increase the distance while decreasing the reps till I’m doing full range reps w/ the original goal weight. I limit my support equip. to a belt and knee wraps.

Thanks in in advance for responses as I never have competed in an official powerlifting meet but want to in August @ a statewide IPA meet.

search for a thread called something like range of movement progression, the op on there had some pretty impressive results. might have been newbie gains though.

Paul Anderson & D.Reinhoudt used it alot, as well as Boone back in old, old days. Simmons may have mentioned I’m not 100% sure tho.
