I straight leg deadlift and whenever I bring the bar up it scrapes my shins and on the way down it hits my knees which makes me weary of it? Anyone know why?
That happens. Just does your keeping the load nearest your center of gravity
It may sound contrary to the problem, but make sure your shins are as close to the bar as possible. They don’t have to be quite touching, but if you have them too far back the bar will get pulled into your legs which is what sounds like could be happening.
