I am into this program now for 12 days and have had constant nausea and diarrhea this has impacted my workouts - work - life in general. Has anyone else experienced this? I have quit using the HOT-ROX - but still having this issue. Also - have only lost two pounds and hardly any inches. I feel tired and rundown all the time, possible from dehydration. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.
That sucks…
could it be you have the flu?
Sorry, but I think you are going to have to post quit a bit more information about what program/diet you are on to get the information you need.
I am currently on the velocity diet - I am a beginner.
No health problems like the flu or sickness - I can relate the nausea and diarrhea directly to the low carb shakes especially when taking the superfood. I am playing with taking the Flameout at different times to see if that is causing some of my issues. This is very frustrating…I guess I could have a sensitivtiy to something in the low carb powder shake mix.
just curious… what did you think would happen when you signed up for a mostly liquid diet? are you taking the recommended fiber supplements?
also, it may be more helpful to ask some of the people doing it, like here:
Thanks - for the site - So I guess what you are saying is this is normal? IF it’s part of the diet to have to change your clothes daily and not make it to the bathroom and be sick I guess that’s what i needed to know. Thanks for your input.

Ask the V-Dieters - I think everyone here is doing the solid food thing.
Yes, you’re best off asking for advice on the V-Diet forum.
For the record, I’ve done the V-Diet and it didn’t affect me that way. I did feel weak and tired for some of it but certainly not sick and poopy (in fact I was so constipated I considered calling DynoRod to unblock my colon).
If you are using Metabolic Drive, it could be that you have a casein intolerance (MD contains a mixture of whey and casein). Casein is a protein that is absorbed more slowly than whey so keeps you satiated for longer. However, casein is not dissimilar to gluten, and a lot of people have problems with it.
I did the V-Diet using pure whey (rather than a whey/casein blend) which is not recommended, but I did OK on it.
ah, good point Cal!!
OP, have you considered the possibility that you are lactose intolerant? Wouldn’t that be an interesting of finding out, sheesh!
jesus fucking christ no thats not normal.
but for fucks sake why did you come here? instead of the V-Diet forums? are any of us doing the V-Diet?
and to some degree, i’d expect loose stool. gee, wonder what the fuck a liquid diet WOULD do!
i cant even accuse you of being full of shit. you’re just too dumb for your own good. i hope you use birth control.

dayummmm…
Hola OP, I hope all is well.
Were you able to get your answers in the V-Diet forum? I know Chris Shugart has a Q&A thread in there.
How’s the training going?
