Primer 52 Leg Hypertrophy Day Workout?

I’m on my first week of the 52 diet and feeling really good. Today is Leg hypertrophy day and was tempted to try a very simple but likely extremely brutal leg workout that Dan John recommended in one of his articles - just back squatting 185 for 50 reps. Would this be suitable for today? Or should I go a more traditional bodybuilding style workout?


Whatever motivates you is fine. Personally it is not my cup of tea but it is not a mistake either.
