Preparation for Sprinting


What type of preparation would you recommend to begin sprinting again?

It’s been a while since I’ve run full speed and I want to get back to it. Obviously, slower than I used to be…

I want to regain that type of mobility and training type before I get too old and decrepit.

If using the layer system, which day would you place sprinting on and how frequent could it be done?

One workout that I would like to try is the following:


400m sprint - rest 4 mins.

300m sprint - rest 3 mins.

200m sprint - rest 2 mins.

100m sprint
