Prep for a Push/Pull Meet - To Squat or Not?

6 weeks out from a raw push/pull meet. I train 4 days/week using 5/3/1 BBB but since I will not be squatting at the meet, any recommendations for changing up squat day to best complement the deadlift? Thanks for the help.

Box squats. Box Squats have tremendous carryover to the deadlift. Make sure you pause on the box but stay tight and explode up (you’re doing this anyway, right?).

Keep squatting. Leg strength is pretty important in the deadlift.
