Preferred Time for Workouts

I work out at my university gym, but I haven’t found the squat racks OR oly lifting platform in use more than once or twice during any of the times I’ve gone. It doesn’t matter what time it is, nobody uses 'em. Now if I want to use one of the 8 benches or 4 cable stations, we have a problem…

Liquid meal would be best. No protein shakes? How about chocolate milk? Or mix up a smoothie with milk and fruit?
