Pre-Workout Surge Recovery?

So i have been looking around and i see a lot of people talking about how they take there Surge Recovery pre-workout now.

I am very intrested, so can you experienced people help me out when should i take it pre-workout- 30 minutes before? and should i still take it after my workout?.. I also still take Alpha-GPC wondering if you can still do both.

30 minutes before is fine. Take it after as well.

The effects of taking it before are much more noticeable then those of taking it after.
You will smash PRs and love it.

I’ve read from other experiences that taking Surge Recovery 30 min pre workout may lead to a hypoglycemia effect. You’d be better off taking it about 10-15 min pre workout.

I switched up to a modified version of Thibaudeau’s peri-workout protocol and have been taking Alpha-GPC 60 mintues prior, FINiBAR 45 minutes out, 2 scoops Surge Workout Fuel 30 minutes out, and 1 Scoop Surge Recovery 15 minutes out…I also have another scoop of Surge Recovery halfway through my workout…

Things are going great with this…I’m setting new PR’s every time I go into the gym and gaining weight without too much BF gain…I think the Surge Recovery gives me an awesome boost during my workout…From what I’ve been reading, a lot of guys are now recommending moving your post workout drink to before or during your workout for max benefits, and eating real food afterwards…

Our protocols are pretty much identical except I sip on Pepto-Pro during instead of Surge Recovery. I agree also that this has made a huge difference in my training intensity and my ability to hit PR’s.

I should have refined my question im sorry. I am a Wrestler so i am trying to loose BF so im not gonna wanna do anything that makes me gain it… that being said what do you guys think of this

1 hour before 2 Alpha-GPC

15 minutes before 2 scoops Surge Recovery

immeadeatly after 1 Scoop Recovery

Hour after my normal diet plan

I omitted the Surge Workout Fuel and FINiBAR because I am a high school kid and I believe that a good clean diet beats high priced supplements, while im stil growing… the only reason I use the Surge ecovery is because its the best thing for a post workout meal

I wouldn’t really consider FINiBAR a supplement, but you’re probably right…at your age and budget, lots of food is probably the right answer…

I would take that philosophy on your post workout too though–eat real food afterward…That’s probably the best time to eat real food peri-workout IMO…I think your protocol would work better if you moved the 3rd Surge Recovery serving to the middle of your workout…should help you finish strong

I take 2 scoops 15 minutes b4 working out, as part of the protocol. after the SWF(30 min b4), Finibar(40 min b4) and starting with the Alpha-GPC(60-90 min b4)…
