I have started playing football again and have found that my endurance is not as good as I hoped it would be. I was wondering what you atheletes eat the day before and day of a game. Any Protein/Carb/Fat ratios for either day would be great as well as the specific foods you find to be the most helpful.
BTW: I am 200lbs at 6’ and 10-12%bf

The day before eat as normal but when it comes to dinner eat a big pasta meal with low fat meat or meat and potatoes etc. The day of the match eat as much as you can without feeling sick. I usually try to eat spaghetti on toast with two eggs, bowel of oats and a piece of fruit about 3.5 to 4 hours before a match. you will need to experiment with what you can handle.
