Pre-Contest Training

So Iâ??m in the last month before my first body building show and I am asking some advice about how all of you train before your shows.

I donâ??t trust any other site to get advice from.

Iâ??m currently sticking to the Westside Barbell training program, basically heavy ass weight. It hasnâ??t been bad at all but I wanted some other opinions with this one.

What do you think?

I stick with heavy weights as well, obviously taking into account the fact that you’re more prone to get injured. My split stays a basic 4 day breakup, with what would have been ‘off’ days now used for interval work.


Yeah good stuff. That’s basically what I’ve been doing.
