PPL-Active Rest-Repeat

Looking to slowly lean out

Currenty Training PPL-core/cardio then repeat. Looking to slowly cut and get BF into the single digits.

I have been being pretty strict for about a month and have gotten some compliments on my physique in the gym. My question is do I need a true rest day or is a 25min core circuit followed by 25-30min of cardio on rest days ok to allow sufficient recovery.
