Powerlifting Gyms Rochester

Does anyone on this forum live in Rochester New York? I found an old thread about powerlifting gyms in Rochester but it is 6 years old and some of the gyms mentioned there have been closed. I’d like to join a real powerlifting gym where they wont get angry if I drop a deadlift or use chalk. Any input appreciated, Minor friendly gyms preferably considering I’m 17. Location irondequoit so preferably close, but if it is worth it I’m willing to drive.

Dropping deadlifts will be frowned upon everywhere. Unless you are using bumper plates, it is bad for the equipment, bar especially. You should learn to stop doing that pretty soon.

See if powerlifting watch has any info. I’m sure it will have a couple listed.

The golds in my area has bumpers and still wont let you drop.
