At the beginning of the year I decided to get back to it. I turned 65 in January which put me in a new category (masters 3b). The California deadlift record for 165 lbs is 445 lbs. I mentioned above that before Covid I was able to match my precancer PR of 420 lbs; I am happy to report that I got up 425 today. 450 is now the goal.

I did Prostate surgery and radiation in 2020. Now trying to get that motivation to lift heavy again. I haven’t really trained in years.

But I’m trying to drop the lbs to the 275 zone. I turn 59 this week.
