How would you incorporate those two lifts in weekly weight training schedule to someone who is practising Krav Maga tue, fri and sundays,sets reps additional movements everything? Need for speed and explosivness!
I’d probably do them on wednesday, devoting the entire workout to these lifts, their variations, and/or supplementary exercises. As always, the reps and sets depend largely on your technique and experience levels. If you’re new to the O-game, use light weight and practice perfect form on every rep. If you have more experience, drop the reps and up the sets. Don’t do more than about 6 reps (generally), and don’t fall into the trap of using light weight, poorly accelerating it, and thinking your working on “explosiveness”.
