I lift weights, the typical routines. However, I’m interested in beginning to power lift; is there a book that will describe the proper form for exercises like clean and jerk and so on? Thanks for any information.
The clean and jerk and snatch are Olympic lifts. Powerlifting is the bench, squat, and deadlift.
Powerlifting is squat, bench press, deadlift.
The clean and jerk is not a powerlifting movement, it is an Olympic weightliting movement.

They will have several books and video tapes that will assist you in learning the techniques properly and you can also contact the USA Weightlifting Federation in Colorado Springs. They can hook you up with weightlifting clubs that may be in your area so you can learn from some actual lifters.
