On the power drive label it say to take power drive on empty stomach 30-60 minutes before training. Is it okay if I eat my breakfast after I take power drive?
An empty stomach is defined as 2 hours after a meal and/or one hour before a meal, which works out great if you eat every 3 hours.
thanks tampa terry
Tampa-Terry what you consider the top 3 biotest supplements? My goals are to increase strength and power while increasing my bodyweight. I 5’7" 154lbs and 20 years old. I have no specific set diet. I’m trying out for a college football team in March as a walkon.
take powerdrive one hour before workouts, I would avoid eating anything after you take powerdrive and before workouts.
philtwine, how long have you been working out seriously/consistently?
You’re almost at the point you could start doing Mag-10. Just a little premature, there, though.
Honestly, supps ain’t going to get you to where you want to go. Your workout and diet will generate the biggest bang for the buck. I’d be looking at Coach Davies’ programs if I were you; Renegade Training. You’ll have to pay for it, but it’s sport specific, and he can help you put on some size at the same time. He has his own forum, BTW.
Diet and eating ought to be your number one priority while you’re working out like a crazy man. Grow and fish oil (6-10g of EPA/DHA) and a multi would be first on my list for you, with only one of those being a Biotest supp. If you get by the book store, pick up Barry Sears’ book, “The Omega Zone” and read the chapter on athletes. He’s used high-dose fish oil with football players. It will take about 20 minutes to read the chapter. You’ll be totally sold on the value of fish oil once you do.
Sorry for hi-jacking the thread - but on that point Terry - What books do you regard as the most informative you’ve read …?
Colgan? Sears? (Clark even?)
