I just started doing power cleans again and I get a slight jaring pain on my upper left forearm by the elbow when I am lowering the bar down. Any one experience this? Any thoughts to fix it? Thanks.
How much weight are you using? If I’m muscling down a significant amount of weight, it’s gonna hurt. It’s better to just drop it (are you using bumper plates?). But lets say you are doing power cleans from above the knee (hang). Don’t reverse curl that thing down. Kind of pop it off your shoulders and let the weight fall down while your guide it with your hands, and then catch it on your mid-thigh while you bend your knees.
