Potassium to Balance Out Sodium

Would it be wise to eat a few bananas with a bag of beef jerky? Even though I’m on the V diet now, when I’m done, I’ll have a little treat and eat some beef jerky. The next day after this, it seems like I sweat very easily (from the high sodium). Would bananas help balance out the high sodium??

Any thoughts/opinions/help would be appreciated :slight_smile:

I heard that all 4 electrolytes have to be in balance along with water. And the ratio goes something like this:

Na - 10

K - 10

Mg - 1

Cl - 2

Apparently if any one of them is out of whack, it can cause a decrease in performance.
