Post Workout Shake During Workout?

Is there some sort of benefit to drinking your PWO shake after our workout instead of during it?

I find that I can’t down water and then a PWO shake after it. I feel like I’m going to throw up. So what I’ve been doing is just drinking my PWO while working out. I usually finish it at the same time I’m done my last exercise.

I think it’s a safe bet to drink during, but I’m sure for optimal results you should have something preworkout and then immediately after. Some people’s stomachs are different though.

Just make sure whatever you’re doing, you’re drinking Surge!


Hi there, it’s not too big of a deal if you wait until post workout. You could try to get used to drinking before the workout, but it’s not going to make or break you.
