Post-Workout Questions

Sup all. Am a regular reading the training/nutrition forum and must say there is excellent information in this bad boy…Quick question…anybody mess around with honey post-workout?..I have messed around with honey, quaker rice cakes (to jack insulin) and an assortment of protein bars with decent results…apparently honey keeps blood glucose normal as opposed to other simple sugars?..
Currently 191 at 9% bf; goal is 195 at approx 7% so I will hit keto around 200lb.

I think i have heard that honey is a poor post workout food. Try Glucose powder mixed in Whey Isolate and water.

Steve Reeves used to make lime juice mixed with honey before a workout to give him energy. I really don’t think honey is neccesary after a workout, but before a workout it could help.
