I was wondering if I am not benifiting as much as I could by eating 6 oz. of tuna on wheat bread for post workout meal. I do this and then about an hour to 1.5 hr later I will eat close to a pound of ground beef and about 80g of carbs from bread again. Should I be getting a liquid meal instead for quicker absorbtion? I eat about 10 min. after workout.
