Post-Vasectomy = Botched Job?

There’s a forum on men’s health issues and Hormone Replacement Therapy I visit often, where a number of posters have complained of hypogonadism(reduced testosterone) after getting the snip done. I know it doesn’t make sense in terms of the physiology of it all, but it seems much more than pure coincidence and age. Some have given theories that it is an autoimmune process.

Getting a vasectomy doesn’t mean you’ll become hypogonadal, there just seems to be evidence it may increase the chances. Anyone complaining of low T symptoms after the fact may want to pursue getting some tests done. Anyone considering getting the snip done may want to consider the positives/negatives before doing so.

I may be wrong on this issue but it’s something to keep in mind none the less.
