I searched the engines and didn’t find the exact amount of protien and carbs that should be contained after doing high intensity cardio for 20 min.
The recommendations should be pretty much the same as a post-weight workout. What I usually do is keep the same amount of carbs (around 60-70g.) but only about two thirds the amount of protein that I normally consume. Since there is no excessive protein breakdown, I don’t believe there’s a need for large amounts of protein. However, research suggests that ingesting protein along with carbs will enhance glycogen replenishment after any type of exercise, so having some protein in there is a good idea.
