Post Cardio Caffeine?


I rememering reading in a Waterbury article that one should avoid caffeine for at least four hours after weight training, due to an effect on inhibiting the replenishment of glycogen levels post workout. My question is whether this 4 hour guideline applies to say a steady state cardio session.

I could see where it might inhibit glycogen fillment after HIIT, however, since a steady state session is less draining on the glycogen front, I wonder if it would still hold true.


Nope steady state if kept moderate or lower shoul rely largely on Fat for fuel and it may be of benefit to take some caffeine prior/during let alone after. Moderation bro.
