Political Correctness Marches On

Why are there groups, gay or Christian, using government systems to promote their ideology? We don’t pay taxes so they can have bulletin boards for this kind of crap. They should do their job and keep this kind of stuff limited to their own time, on their own resources. That should have been the main focus of this article.

This is a “government as employer” case. It’s not as if the government used resources to set up specific bulletin boards and communication systems for the purpose of having them used by employees for their items. It’s the same as the “For Sale” email list you probably have at your work, or the bulletin boards by the water fountains.

That said, the 9th Circuit is going to get smacked down yet again by the USSC if this goes up on appeal. The government, even acting as an employer, can’t discriminate on the basis of the position you take on an idea. And it’s generally the left-wing censors who try to tell you what you CAN’T say.

See this book, still as true today as when it was published: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0226705765/ref=wl_it_dp/103-6772487-9062259?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2Q7PYL5IOOQRE&colid=26M9RZYLYW66Q

This is typical of California. Everything the Government does is in an attempt to support some political agenda, no matter what the industry. They truly want to legislate their ideas and tell people how to think and what to believe.

I do so hope you’re talking about both sides.

I wonder which side does it more?

I’m talking about the Left, because typically California is much more Left leaning than Right. Also, don’t forget about Hollywood. They put out a lot of propaganda trying to make us little people believe like they do. And they are very Left of center.

So I would say that in California the Left tries to manipulate the population much more than the Right, because they have more opportunity.

When it comes to restriction on what you can say, on actual speech, I would say it’s the left – when you start getting into expressions other than speech (i.e. flag burning or nude performance art), it probably starts to balance out.

I didn’t really mean left v right, but Christians v Gays. But I agree anyway.

I wish both sides would just stop.
