Poliquins bodyfat distribution/hormone patter

I was reading a writing by Charles Poliquin in which he describes a method in which he takes a 13-point skinfold reading and based upon the differences in these various measurements he can tell which hormone (androgens, insulin, GH) is the limiting factor in burning fat and building muscle for each individual.
I have always thought a lower androgen level will lead to more abdominal fat but what kind’ve fat distribution patterns does having a low insulin or GH level contribute to??..Does anyone have any insight on this?
