Plant Estrogens

A while back I read that fruits and vegetables contain estrogen compounds that interfere with cutting by making you smoothe.

I am trying to get as ripped as possible for an event about 6 weeks from now, and want to cut out fruit & vegetables if this is true.

I am currently on a modified V-diet using 5 Grow! shakes, with ground flax meal, per day and one solid meal usually consisting of a salad with spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers and and some kind of meat or non-fat cottage cheese.

Any insight on this?

The worst estrogenic vegetable is soy beans. Other than that, eat your fruits and vegetables. Obey. Read Berardi and Lowery.

Yeah-assuming a low-carb and/or ketogenic diet was not the plan, I don't think inclusion of fruits and vegetables ever hurt anyone's fat loss.

Most vegetables don't count as carbs, anyway. So even if you are on a low-carb diet, eat your vegetables.
