Planned Parenthood: Post Natal-Abortion

If you guys are truly the anti-eugenics moralists you claim to be, then I suggest you start mating randomly.

Eugenics is the philosophy of advocating the improvement of human hereditary traits through the promotion of higher reproduction of more desired people and traits, and reduce reproduction of less desired people and traits.

yup.

“Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophy is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument.”

Natural selection including genetically predisposition propensities to be attacked to certain physical traits, is not a philosophy which requires a rationed intent.

A person mating with who they are attracted to is no more pro eugenics than a person who likes guns is republican.

You are actually arguing that natural selection is eugenics. It’s absurd. Lions don’t have rational intent. Nor do most humans have rational intent to improve human genetics when they mate.

By the same token Ayn Rand is a altruist because she advocates a system where she thinks the least number of people would suffer. Even though she completely denies altruism and her system is based off pure self interest.

I think the government should build roads, and the communists thought they should build roads. Therefore, I’m a communist.

Doing a physical act that may, by chance, fall in line with a philosophy, does NOT make a person pro that philosophy.

A lazy lower class person who decides not to have kids because they are lazy and don’t want to have to take care of them isn’t pro eugenics either.

You just shot holes all through your own argument with this definition.

Regarding the OP, as others have said this amounts to murder and it is incomprehensible for me how anyone can see it as anything else.

Well, my dogs got ahold of a baby sheep less than a day old (through the fence) and broke it’s back before I could stop them. I just had to perform a post natal abortion on a sheep. I have to say, it felt a lot like killing a baby sheep to me. Fucking awful.

People promoting this need to experience a long term post natal abortion. Evil murderous worthless non-human excrement.

Post natal it is no longer abortion in my opinion. Euthanasia perhaps. I dont know the details of what cases they would endorse such a practice, it would have to be some pretty extreme case of a rare defect. In Norway we have quite a good system for helping parents with disabled kids. I work at such a place. How is it in USA if parents get kids that require 24/7 care? Is it all based on insurance?

My wife and I 15 years ago, when we were dating, had an abortion, and not a day goes by that we do not regret it. We have been happily married for 14 years and have 3 children and I love them so much. My wife and I this last year wanted to help a couple that could not have children, and my wife became a serogate for them. The baby was their embryo, and all my wife did was carry the baby to full term. The baby was born just this February. We wanted to help a family have a child even though we took one.

Not trying to turn this into a Christian thread, but I am so glad I live under the Grace of God through Jesus Christ’s Blood. Without it I would be worse than everyone.

I still wonder who that child would have grown up to be. I am so sorry I made that decision.[/quote]

Wow D. I don’t really know what to say except I am sorry.
Thanks for having the courage to share this.

I am not generally pro-choice, but I do understand the pro-choice argument. This, however, is indefensible, and anybody who does it deserves the fullest and fiercest punishment available to the court in which he’s tried.

Also, there is no sane adult human that could call this anything other than murder.

The problem is that a lot of people have to settle for the best they could get not what they really wanted. If that weren’t true we wouldn’t need porn or beer.
