Place Beyond the Pines

finally saw this movie and thought it was amazing for 3/4 of it, but the ending was awful. ive caught a lot of criticism from people because of this opinion, almost as bad as the times i elaborated on how Garden State and Donnie Darko are overrated and terrible movies, but anyway…

i thought the movie was building up to a poignant and inspiring ending, but the kid just ends up going across the country on his father’s motorcycle without even a GED and probably ends up dying a homeless drug addict while bradley cooper and his kid most likely enjoyed the rest of their lives, arugably at the expense of others.

didnt find it moving or even thought provoking, just sad and kinda pathetic, thoughts…?

This movie was a steaming pile of shit. Absolutely terrible. Completely insisted upon itself. Kept waiting for something remotely interesting to happen then 2&1/2 hours later it was over. What a waste of time and a thread.
