Physique Friendly Snacks

Because jerky and nuts get old very freakin’ fast.

(to be consumed while playing cards, so messy stuff is out)

A protein shake.

What’s wrong with eating just regular food while playing cards?

Protein shake (as noted)
Apple and cheese stick
Skim milk and natural peanut butter
Chocolate Hood and mixed nuts
Cottage cheese and mixed nuts
Cottage cheese and mixed raw vegetables
Cottage cheese and chopped fruit

Here is a shake I have actually made for sitting around playing cards/games. It is pretty thick and I enjoy sipping it.

16 ounces chocolate Hood
1/2 cup of cottage cheese
1/4 cup of walnuts
One scoop of Metabolic Drive
Shake of cinnamon

What is Chocolate Hood?..

-Celery and natty peanut butter
-veggie tray
-hard boiled eggs (maybe pushing it)
-big salad
-spinach/avocado dip with veggies

Some of John Berardi’s recipes would be a good idea:
-peanut butter bars
-chili
-and many others just buy his book or look on his site

I think it’s the calorie countdown milk. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Calorie Countdown formerly known as Carb Countdown is made by Hood. It is a dairy beverage. I use fat free Hood for my last meal of the day when wanting to cut a few grams of lactose per serving. Chocolate Hood is essential to keep around because a small glass of it satisfies most of my chocolate cravings with no guilt.

A lot of the contributors here use/recommend it.

There’s no such thing as 0-calorie cool whip, right? Isn’t Sugar Free Cool Whip like 15 calories per serving, so a tub would be something like 375 calories (75 grams of carbs)

After I graduated, I found myself eating Metabolic Drive with Oatmeal a lot during the day and night as snacks.

That, or Sweet Potato Chips.

A lot of times when I am between clients and driving and don’t feel or want a shake. I grab a Zero Impact Bar from the local nutrition store down here. VPX makes it, good meal replacement, it’s dense so it satisfies hunger really well. It’s ingridients are actually recognizable too which is something I look for in my foods.

x2 on the ZeroImpact bar. very filling for its size. super dense. great snack.

I have really enjoyed hummus from Sabra, this stuff is beyond good and even better when you dip some veggies in it. Yummy.

caribou jerky, smoothie, nuts, rice cakes, popcorn

Looks good, a smidge high on carbs, but at least it’s not from sugar.
