Film crew= new coaches

At least that’s my take on it.[/quote]

I agree. Imagine the cost of a film crew, lol

I don’t know…the kid in me actually wants to believe that the Biotest would actually throw that kind of money into the Clinic.

Just for the record, I HATE when people ask/beg to be chosen for the clinic. I can honestly say that 100% of all of those who ask me on the forum, PM, or email, to be chosen will not be. I will not even consider them.

No he’s not.

holy shit a film crew. thats so awesome man. god bless technology, theres no lying either. you cant be like “oh man i went to the gym and did everything you said but its just not working…and someone was on all the machines” haha just awesome.

are they just going to come for like a little while or be there permanently? like those episodes of True Life.

i can see it now, True Life - Im On The Physique Clinic.

Thats gona keep them strait having a film crew lol…No Novagregs this time around…hahahah

Now the real questions can be asked: Are they going to stay in your house, and if so can you kick them out if they start mooching off your food and supps?!

I kid, I kid.

Good way to hype this up guys, can’t wait to see how it all works out.

If the whole “film crew” thing is for real, that would just be insane. That’s a ton of scratch to drop on some poor slobs from the internets LOL

yea and you cant just quit either. all that bank down the drain? wheeeeew

I doubt they’ll film the whole thing. Maybe a couple days in the beginning and a couple days in the end.

wow, the 2nd go-around should be pretty sweet. Can’t wait.

Im guessing they will show up like publisher’s clearing house on the first day, and then maybe a few check ups throughout, maybe a day of training, some meal prep.

And then a final visit.

That sounds educational and entertaining.

Lmao, that would be great!

They’d roll up on some random T-Nation member with no warning, not giving them enough time to hide their fetish dresses and Russian midget jail pornos.

Actually it might be more than that. But I can’t say anything more (actually I don’t know anything more yet).

Bill Philips did something similar with the Body for Life Challenge. The video showed Phillips flying to the various folks homes to tell them they were picked for the finale.

He brought them all to the EAS headquarters, they worked out with Phillips, talked fitness, etc…

In between segments, a video bio on each person told their story and showed their transformation.

While some folks on here are debating the financial risk of pouring money into a faceless person on the internet, I think the first Physique Clinic answered that concern. They were able to produce two incredible transformation out of five people. Keep in mind, two dropped out, so Biotest was 2 for 3.

With the YouTube explosion, video is the logical next step to make this Clinic stand out from the rest of the Fitness challenges and contest out there. I think they’ve already raised the bar by incorporating the nurition and training expertise, but now the video element will allow a visual window into the training mechanics and form.

The unknown really revolves around how involved the film crew will be and if the Clinic participants will stay at home for their experience. With summer right around the corner, it would be interesting if this Physique Clinic focused on college kids, invited them to the Biotest headquarters for the summer and basically ate, trained and slept their way to a transformation with Thibs and Shugart.

Damn, a film crew? For some reason I think I’d feel awkard with everyone staring at me and my entourage as I lift little girl weights.

Then again anyone who got picked would probably get over that really fast given the nature of the Clinic.

Bill Phillips did have a creative idea with Body of Work and filming it. Something new in the industry for sure. But I think some credibility was lost when some of the contestants were failing polygraph tests. One guy allegedly failed his name, while another got REAL sweaty when he failed from taking juice back in the day. God he was nervous like a man at sentencing.

I think T-Nation and Biotest will set the bar even higher with a film crew. Like Dave F mentioned, people will not be able to get away with shit the way someone did with season 1. How will this be seen by the way? Cable, Youtube, clips here on T-Nation?

To me it sounds like it will turn out like a badass version of that show on mtv, I think its called made.

Completely agree. I think for the first time you’ll see actual coaching on mechanics and form on real exercises - not some dude standing on a ball with a 25 pound dumbell in on hand and a kettleball dangling from his foot.

I really liked the first season and am very much looking forward to the next season.

At work we would all click to see how things were going and they had a pool to see who was going to drop out. I am really happy to say nobody won the pool because all the participants (this was after the 1st drop out)stuck it out.

If they film this … holey moley! It will be great to see how the coaches guide the participants, correcting their form or adjusting the weights and lifts.

I also think it was great of Shugs to leak that bit of information. I was interested in the next season before but now I am really looking forward to the rollout.
