Petition: European Biotest Branch

My testosterone levels are deteriorating. I’m soon to be forty and have levels a little below average. I don’t want to do any steroids, and doctors here in Norway are very reluctant to prescribe testosterone replacement therapy anyway. So I decided to invest in some “Alpha Male”, but knowing the weird beuraucratic, nit-picking drug import legislation in my country I checked with the authorities if I could get the supplement through customs. It turns out I couldn’t.

Two of the herbs in Alpha Male are classified as medical drugs, which means that they decided they actually have an effect, and therefore cannot be sold as a prescription free supplement. Buying for personal use abroad is however legal, but only if the product is imported from a EEC-country. This means that I could get “Alpha Male” if it was delivered from, for instance Germany or France, but not when it originates from the US.

It’s all completely absurd of course, but it leads me to create this petition to the owners of Biotest:

Please set up shop in Europe, preferably in a EEC-country. This would greatly reduce shipping and customs expenses for European customers, which undoubtedly would lead to massive increases in sales. It would also open up a whole new market of Norwegian customers who at present cannot get good American supplements through customs because of geographically biased drug import legislation.
Go global Biotest!

I agree. It doesn’t have to cost more than hiring one person in Europe. And I think most of us would gladly pay say a 10% markup to compensate you for the extra trouble. Spending a month’s worth on Anaconda on shipping alone is not pleasant and there are a lot of countries you currently can’t even ship to.

Help us help you. We could all benefit from this.

The costs of doing that would probably be quite substantial, but I absolutely think there is a market for Biotest over here judging by the interest I see in the Anaconda Protocol and FA3.

I’ll add my voice to this worthy cause

Swedish customers would love it too.

um they do have a shop in the uk, Biotest uk. but it is very expensive, the zma has an 80% markup. in the uk we have pleanty of supplements that are premium brand and not as expensive so its like why bother with them. also i can get a ma-hassive discount on some premium stuff so it can compete in price with budget stuff. i think Biotest underestimate how much money they can make, ive been seeing specialist bodybuilding shops opening and were not exactly in an economic boom. even a sensibly priced ebay store could go a long way.

Yes. Please.

Only supplements I have been able to afford from Biotest have been HOT-ROX Extreme and TRIBEX Gold and even those are a stretch now as a full time student.

Incidently if you’re looking for someone to hire as part of a potential UK team…

Oh ja, I so love the idea of fianlly having some Biotest here in Germany!

Im in!

Biotest UK is in no way affiliated with Biotest. They just buy their products and sell them at a markup. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Signed.

I always suspected this - just wish they didn’t use the Biotest name as it is misleading!

I’ve bought Biotest products in the UK when I’m over there visiting family and brought them back with me but would love it if we could have them shipped here to Norway without a ridiculous mark up.

I had no idea the products were available from the UK. I am now in the process of asking the relevant authorities whether or not I can import from there even if the product originally was made on American soil. I have a feeling I can’t, or that I’ll get a muddled answer that leaves it up to me to interprete what to do.
