Perplexing labs

So I have quite a bit of knowledge about the endocrine system and my own situation tends to be a little odd. Here are before labs take a year ago with taking nothing except some supplements here and there…

Cholesterol, Total 135 (100-189)
Triglycerides 40 (0-114)
HDL Cholesterol 40 (greater than 39)
LDL 90 (0-119)

Testosterone 400 (348-1197)
Free T 14 (9.3-26.5)

TSH 7.2 (.45-4.5)

LH 4.2 (1.7-8.6)
FSH 2 (1.5-12.4)

Prolactin 16.8 (4.0-15.2)

Estradiol 36.2 (7.6-42.6)

T4 6.6 (4.5-1.0)
t3 98 (71-180)

SHBG 20 (16.5-55.9)

Now since then I took Selegiline 5 mg/day as well as Imipramine 25mg/day for 6 months. I took Synthroid 100mcg for 3 months…these were all stopped 2 months before the most recent blood test. The only other thing I was taking was Aromasin (brand name) 8-12.5mg…depending on how well the tiny, microscopic pills broke. I also take 750mg of Grape Seed Extract with Aspirin in the morning because it is the ONLY thing that helps with painful breasts for me. Yes, my breasts and nipples ache severly even now with my hormones changed…

As you can see my estradiol has decreased a lot, along with my cholesterol profile rising, and not in a very healthy way. Overall I think the lowering of estradiol had a negative impact on my profile though is this what helped lower prolactin and help my thyroid?..

My SHBG decreased to a low level. Most likely due to estradiol’s decrease.

My prolactin is now normal and so is my thyroid. Both of which were never normal throughout the years. Did Selegiline permanently change the dopamine dynamics?

Once again the only med I was taking was Aromasin…which I have now stopped.

Testosterone barely budged. LH/FSH also barely moved.

Right now I am taking nothing (except grape seed extract since, as I said, my breasts will ache like I am having a child if I don’t). Ironically I felt absolutely no symptoms of low T. Had morning erections 80-90% of the time. Healthy libido. Testicles were a good size. I even made gym gains with very little soreness, though my exercise tolerance remains low. Perhaps my body is okay with this level of T. Perhaps it has compensated for sensitizing androgen receptors so I need less.

The endo is talking about clomid possibly after he researches more…I have about 200 clomid pills in my drawer so I don’t need to wait till he learns more. But I am not taking any right now. I may take 25mg a day in the future.

Overall there really isn’t anything clear cut here and the old adage of decreasing estradiol, helping your thyroid and decreasing prolactin, raising cholesterol (and even increasing vitamin d levels) did NOTHING for testosterone.
