What type of periodization do you athletes use?

Would you guys recommend the use of congrugate periodization similar to what Westside Barbell uses for an athlete (i’m a basketball/rugby player)? I.e. a strength day, a power day and a structural day?

How about the pendulum periodization method - switching from one phase to another each week?


Just make some/all of your DE days sport practices and don’t concentrate too heavily on your bench.
