IT REALLY IS.
I do like to use Surge Workout Fuel because it contains beta-alanine and creatine in it w/ the carbs, but I haven’t noticed a differenc from when I have some oates and almond butter before training
I eat 1-3 Powerbars prior, FINiBARs would also work. I use surge workout fuel during, the dose depends on the duration of the practice and the intensity. This is something you’re going to have to figure out for yourself. Afterwards 2 scoops of Surge recovery.
If there is a gap between practices such as jujistu ends at 12:30 but muay thai isn’t until 2:00 I’ll eat another Powerbar (FINiBAR) or two.
This seems like a lot but it has done wonders for the amount of work I can put out in a week without feeling like I’m falling apart. Also, when you have this much going into peri workout nutrition be sure that you earn it by working your ass off in training.
