How would the methods change applied to a competitive powerlifter? Would one ever do reps in the 90% range, even if this would force one to lift slower? Can absolute strength be gained from just developing explosion.
My thoughts: Its probably fine to grind out or miss a rep a few times a mth, maybe. The reason the perfect rep is so important for HPM is becuase of the super HFT. If you follow a standard powerlifting split its probably not quite so important.
