Perfect 10 Program Question


I'll be going into my 3rd week of the P-10 program and I wanted to get some thoughts on those of you who have done the program...

The program generally calls for performing a certain number of sets at a percentage of your 1RM. For example, 3 sets of 10 at 12RM with 120s rest. By the time I get to the 3rd set, I can't hit 10 reps with the same weight I used for my first set when I got 10. For those who done the program, did you lower the weight so that you could do the 10 reps?

My philosophy is that I'd rather stick with the same weight and if I'm only getting 7 or 8 reps at the end, then I have something to shoot for.

Any other thoughts out there are much appreciated.

Your approach is good at times but not for this program and the frequency.
