People Interrupting You

This just irritates the shit out of me. In an intelligent debate where I respectfully disagree with someone elses’ opinion, there is nothing that pisses me off more than someone interrupting me to contradict what I say before even taking the time to listen to it and consider it. Rather than raise my voice to speak over them and turn it into a shouting argument rather than debate, Ill usually just tell them that Im done discussing this and walk away in anger.

The only alternative that I know of would be hip tossing them and wrenching their shoulder out of its socket; but I was hoping for a less violent, yet equally effective method of verbally putting them into their place w/o turning the debate into an all out argument.

Ok, thanks buddy.

Tell them the interrupting cow joke next time.

Hold up a sec… pardon me…

This seems like a good place to post this:

I have 2 tires from a 94 Ford Escort Wagon for sale. No tread, gaping holes in both. They have an odd peanut butter smell to them. Will paint, but only pastels.

Have never been used on a 94 Ford Escort Wagon.

You pick up. Seller not responsible for random violence associated with this sale.

Contact me if interested. Serious offers only.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I hate it when people interrupt me during a set at the gym. I prefer not to talk when I’m concentrating on not puking.

Interrupting is bad, it’s like douche bags who don’t move when they’re walking, sometimes I’m tempted to knock them flat on their ass.

Fascinating… not… moving… while… walking…

Muy mysterioso

So… Is the peanut butter included or not?

Lmao my bad I guess I didn’t explain that very well, don’t move out of the way when walking, like through the mall or on a sidewalk or something.

Slow walkers… And mothers who park themselves at the top of the escalator and block that shit… Or 9 out of 10 people in airports… And loud people…

I don’t have pet peeves, I have major fucking hatreds. [/quote]

My solution to being interrupted is just shutting up. That usually gets the point across.

Another pet peeve: Extremely loud talkers. Ever notice how the more limited a person’s intellect the louder that person feels he/she needs to talk to you despite being within “normal” conversation distance?

Old people that drive during rush hour.
People that have to park their car right next to you with no room for THEM to get out.

Your 500lbs, with a round shape turning sideways doesn’t shange anything, why the fuck do you have to park an inch away from me?
People who have to come to a COMPLETE stop to make a right on a green light.

Someone interrupting irritates the shit out of me. To myself I just think…does this person want to hear themselves talk so badly that they can’t even pretend to listen to other people’s thoughts or points of view.

Once in awhile interruptions can fit and serve a purpose, but if someone does it on a regular basis I tend to avoid having any interactions with them. It is one of those markers showing the person is a douchbag.

What if you are at, say, the computer lab at your school, and some asshole keeps checking out what you are doing on the screen?

That just happened to me, then he left when I noticed him.

I just stop talking.
they finish what they are saying, and I ask if they are done trying to win an arguement with voice volume alone, or may I express my opinion based on facts now.
they usually tell me to shut up…

I completely stop for alot of right turns. We have red-light cameras. You can get a ticket for not stopping completely.

Those people know what they are getting into, but they do it anyway because it’s a chance to be on prime time TV, so they take the abuse.

Anyone remember the show ‘Crossfire’? It got cancelled a few years ago because of Jon “little bitch weasel” Stewart.

Anyway, it was a great show, a lot of heated debates and PLENTY of people interrupting one another. I am surprised that no one ever got punched in the face on that show.
