Pendulum for Athletes Question

I’m interested in doing the pendulum for athletes by CT, but all the concentric/eccentric and whatnot emphasis really require a training partner, which I don’t have.

If I were to not use that “pendulum within pendulum” approach and instead have only regular lifting and the isometrics, would I be seriously reducing the effectiveness of the program?

No, if you leave out the eccetric lifts.

But, those are the specifics, if you’re gonna change the structure (shifting of strength qualities targeted each week) then yes.
