I run full body workout routine three times a week with one rowing exercise. Pendlay Row is the exercise I think feels best and I wonder if it's ok to run it in a higher rep (8-12) range. Many people say Pendlay Row should not be performed in higher range because it needs to be explosive which is not possible with higher reps. For example in stronglifts is it performed with 5 reps. I have tested barbell rows several times (and other rowing exercises) but it does not feel comfortable (not that it's too heavy, just unnatural).
Do you think it is ok to run the Pendlay Row in a full body routine as rowing exercise in the 8-12 rep range?
