I don’t have a peck deck machine available for the growth surge work out. Anyone have a good substitute ? I use my home gym and a community center gym. Not much in machines, just lots of iron.
Your question is relatively easy to answer. Given that you have ample access to free-weights, try dumbell fly’s. Done with proper form, ie. lay flat or inclined arms almost locked out, you should expect reasonable results above and beyond what the measly pec-deck provides.
A cable crossover machine is another option… set up a bench in the middle and lock the pulleys about chest height. Every gym I’ve ever been in has one of those.
